This isn't just steak. This is prime grilled pan-seared medium rare Aberdeen Angus steak, with a peppercorn sauce.

I'll tell you why, Biggus.

I won't go into detail, but let's just say I'm no longer welcome in the food section of M&S.

Oh the shame of it.

I'm trying to lose weight and it's much harder to do when your trying to control ejaculation brought on by a joint of beef.

Hell, I'm a tree-hugging vegetarian, and even I think that steak looks good!! And yep, I'd damn humanity for the very same selfish reasons; why the hell would you want to spend your life in the dark, on a clanky old ship, eating nothing but watery porridge, when you can just bargain with the machines and be placed nice and snug back in the matrix, living as someone important -- like an actor.

Yes, but Matrix steak isn't actually the meat of any animal at all is it?  So, technically, you can still be a devout vegetarian or Hindu and still tuck into some prime, flame-grilled, juicy steaks...

I like my steak rare...

Slap it on the arse and send it in.

I like my steak such that a good vet could bring it back to life.

I like my steak such that it 'moo's when I stick my fork in.

If anyone else has any other good 'rare steak' lines, let me know - those ones are getting old whenever I order steak...

How about "wipe it's arse and walk it past the grill.  I'll do the rest"?

I always thought the wild boar looked delicious in Asterix films.

Haha I even thought it looked delicious in the comic books. I always figured it must be great since Obelix loved it so much.

So in honour of our friend Obelix, when I went to Kublai Khans in Glasgow 2 years ago, alongside zebra, ostrich, and kangaroo, I also had a plate of wild boar because I'd always wanted to try some after reading the books.

Don't know why I haven't been in this thread sooner. Steak is my all time favourite food. I love meat.

Yes yes, out with all the puns about me liking a good piece of meat.

It's true though.

I wish Empire magazine would print a small article on Cypher's steak (along with a mention of this thread ) - the best on-screen movie foods.

Did anyone else quite fancy a rat burger as eaten by Stallone and co in Demolition Man? Or was that just me?
