 The steak in the Matrix does make me hungry.
The sequels make me feel like throwing up though.
The matrix trilogy is cinematic anorexia.
You binge on the first one and then puke for the next two!

In 'The Fugitive' just after Harrison Ford has had a shave he steals a scrambled egg sandwich from the elderly hospital patient, I always want one.

Also whatever Dan Akroyd's butler, Coleman, is cooking in Trading Places, the pancakes.

Oh, and, this is TV, in the episode of Red Dwarf (Bodyswap) when Rimmer - in Lister's body - binges out, and the famous chili chutney sandwich thingy...

I'm hungry.

For some reason I also have always wanted the sandwich thing that Rimmer gets given by Lister. That or the dogfood from the Marooned episode. Mmm...

Has anyone explored the possibility that the simple fact that everyone instantly craves steak when seeing that scene in The Matrix suggests that we ourselves are actually within a real-life Matrix, and that image triggers it off?

On a related point, is it a Glich in the Matrix when I am sat at my desk at work as suddenly crave Steak...does that mean someone, somewhere is eating one and the glitch is making it connect with my Matrix-Connected mind?
