I'd be up for this - the original wasn't perfect. Looked gorgeous, great characters and intriguing concept but far too much "telling instead of showing" narrative - the poor actors had to deliver monster exposition monologues of off-screen action 2 or 3 times every episode.

they are doing well with HoC US so this maybe another good remake of a UK show.

Why not just show the original on US TV? Or have they already done that? I agree with bottlerocket that it is beautifully shot and directed. I was a bit uneasy at first, and thought I might give up on the series given I didn't know where it was going, but I still held interest and thought it was great, original programming.
