Sorry to be pedantic but isn't it Out Of The Furnace?

Casey Affleck has got to be one of the best actors around. I'm struggling to recall a film when he's not great. (oh wait, Tower Heist). Oh well.
Anyway, he's great in this and so is Bale. And Harrelson is not to bad either.
Enjoyed the grimness and am rather pleased with guessing what film the final shot rips-off without ever actually seeing it. Although, it's not very subtle.

I saw this just yesterday and while i thought it was a really good film it is`nt a brilliant one.

I thought the acting was wonderful(Christian Bale,Casey Affleck and best of all Woody Harrleson are all really great.....in fact i would say both Bale and Harrleson should have had oscar nods),the camerawork is beautiful and the soundtrack is one of the best i have heard in quite a while. It is really such a shame however that writer/director Scott "Crazy Heart"Cooper does not come up with a good enough script and,in the case of a shockingly underused Zoe Saldana,a good enough character.

In short i like the film...but it could have been so much better.

I enjoyed it. Harrelson made his character seem so real and what a nasty evil prick his character was.
