Hopefully we'll get something similar to issue 100, the best so far imo. Almost there... can't wait!

ISSUE 300! The Director's Cut of Empire, apparently edited by the biggest directors on the planet. Considering Issue 301 (when Guardians should be on the cover) is a Greatest Movies Ever list, this will perhaps also contain some serious Raccoon action... I hope.

With a new trailer surely coming with Godzilla next month, there's a possibility there'll be something on Interstellar

I know it was a Bank Holiday, but it's taking them AGES to reveal the cover...

Just the normal I think 196 ( counting the back cover ). Have only flicked through the mag but am disappointed - to be honest would of preferred a normal issue with some exclusives of upcoming films rather than a bunch of directors looking back on their films. The On Location bit at the start of the mag was brilliant though.

Thanks for your answer. But still, 196 is more than the normal. Usually these times it is 162. Last month it was even 154! So 196 is not that bad :-)

Nice issue. Only really sullied by the inclusion of The Blair Witch Project. Masterpiece? Really?

& no letters page. Hope this was a one-off?

Congratulations Empire fort this amazing issue ! I haven't read it all yet but it seems terrific.
I was a little disapointed somehow : where are Chris Nolan and Peter Jackson ? Did you ask them to contribute or were they too busy with the postproduction of their next movie ?

This issue was very hard to get as it was sold out quickly in most shops in Amsterdam. I absolutely loved the McTiernan piece and a couple of the director contributions were excellent, in particular the one from David Fincher. Maybe in a future issue you could redo the "whaddayasay I buy you a cup of coffee" script pages because as awesome as it is most of the annotations were unreadable to me. As for Blair With v-- to pick that movie as the Masterpiece for such a milestone issue seems baffling, but hey... everyone their opinion. Enyoed the issue very much though and can't wait for the next one -- hopefully in the future you will do a greatest 301 films in history voted by Empire Staff -- that would be cool.
