You're easily impressed, presumably - the trailer gives little away. End-of. Had it shown Godzilla ripping a train asunder or melting the military to nothing with his atomic breath then I might've shared in your enthusiasm. To each his own, eh.

Three (inferred) scenes in Japan is not set in Japan; chances are it'll be good ol' Uncle Sam that saves the world. Yawn.

I find your lack of faith disturbing.

This looks decent but a bit by the books for todays standards, everything has giant stuff in it that rinses things these days. In fact im pretty sure thats all it takes to qualify as a block buster, as long as some big shit fucks up some smaller shit your movie will do ok. Think about it for a minute and try to name one movie of the last two years where some big shit DID NOT fuck some shit up and it was all epic and shit. Id like to have thought that another fucking Godzilla movie would be the culmination of that but then i remember that fucking Ultron will be in avengers2 and then fucking Appocolypse in X-Men back to the future or whatever and somehow i doubt either of those guys will be NOT kicking the fuck out of some cities in all imax and shit. Oh well at least theyve gone all realistic approach so their wont be any giant impossible wholes in buildings like in the last godzill.......OH FFS!!!
