Have you ever found a supporting character so scene stealing or interesting that you'd like to see them in their own film?

I'd like to see a Big Lewbowski prequel focusing on a young Walter fresh from 'Nam and getting back into society. Heck, a Coen Brothers 'Nam film would be something I'd watch!

Who would you like to see get their own film?

Roland Tembo as played by Pete Postlewaite. An amazing character who deserves his own film.

Coppola was going to make this movie too at one point.

More Hopkins:

The prologue of Mask of Zorro is so cool you want an entire movie with Hopkins in the mask!

There should have been a spin off adventure movie with Lao Che as the main villain against a principally Chinese/Tibetan cast, with Chow Yun Fat as a famous Chinese adventurer - rumored to be the descendent of Li Mu Bai, assembling a team of HK super stars to recover an artifact, a job which he's been contracted for by a mysterious westerner who has been forbidden from ever returning to Cina under penalty of death. In the final scene Chow Yun Fat meets his buyer in a restaurant at the Hong Kong international airport - none other than Indiana Jones. Jones asks after Lao Che and is pleased, though with a twinge of regret to lose such a worthy advisary, to learn of his death. Jones and Tequilla shake hands, and the camera follows Chow Yun fat as he tips his hat and walks off into the teaming crowds - perhaps to return for future adventures.

A historical epic about Katsumodo and his friendship with the young Meiji Emperor, ending as Katsumodo rides off to the battle in the bamboo forest (where he meets Tom Cruise), having made his decision to rebel against westernization.

Not the same sci fI version of the character from the Prestige, just a movie about Tesla with Bowie again in the role.

John Cleese kicked ass in Mary Shelly's Frankenstein. Apparently he achieved the same breakthrough as Frankenstein only decades earlier - sure, the result was 'abomination', but let's see the story! Have Roman Coppola direct it.

We totally need a whole series of hard boiled crime movies about Walter Crow Horse, Graham Greene's bad ass Lakota detective from THUNDERHEART:

I'm not so sure. Skinny P and Badger are funny characters but I can't see where they would go with a show of their own.

Focusing on his younger years, probably in China, when he first encountered the little buggers and the destruction he saw.

The parents from Easy A, they were scene stealers and would gladly watch a movie just about them.

Winston Wolf needs his own movie.

And for that, we need a time machine to bring back a younger Harvey Keitel.

This needs to happen! That and the loooooong rumoured Vega brothers film, although they would have to be either recast or QT would be asking a lot of suspension of disbelieve for the audience to just accept that that the aged actors are playing younger versions of their characters. Perhaps with wink and nod dialogue like "Man, you look like shit!".

The Vega brothers film would be epic, but I think the window has been missed. It's a damn shame, because it could have been another classic production.

I think that seeing a movie detailing some of the escapades of Pumpkin and Honey Bunny would have been interesting too. Might be essentially 'Run Lola Run' personification, but with the polished Tarantino dialogue

I championed this a few years back in a similar thread, but a Gruber brothers movie would have been great, charting their rise in the terrorist underworld and how they fell out.
