WARNING: The clip is, while fascinating, disturbing.

Enter the Void. The movie is cool, and very underrated IMO,
but this scene terrified me. The way his thoughts slow
seem so realistic, even though we don't yet know what that
experience would be like. Just blew my mind.
Thought i'd share.

Very interesting scene; I can imagine it's quite hard to reconstruct the time after death without real experience of it. After researching Go's inspiration for the film (watching Lady in the Lake under influence of mushrooms) and reading the comments on the video, I'm fairly sure it was intended for viewing in conjunction with illegal substances. Pretty explanatory as to why it crashed upon release - a rather unfair evaluation of the work though.

The scene itself is surreal, caused by that immortal POV perspective that gave us shots like the night-vision POV in Silence of the Lambs. Seeing the action through (allegedly) your own eyes can be powerful, especially when the character comes to harm. Think of all the horror movies you've seen where it cuts to the main character being stalked by the monster.

All in all pretty interesting; at least he didn't start seeing apparitions of religious phenomena.
