That's possibly the weirdest comment on this thread.

God she was beautiful though.

I'm finding this boring with no reviews. And boring with reviews. Might just list the rest in one post and review the top 500.

Reviews or not, I love this thread.

I discovered with seconds to spare that Parents was on Film 4 last night. Happy I did, as the DVD is currently 75 on Amazon!

Not seen any of the last lot, despite owning copies of both Sabrina (but I have seen the remake) and Marvin Gardens.

Regarding Tomorrow, has anyone else seen it? If so, do you agree with me that Duvall's performance is a huge influence on Billy Bob Thornton in Sling Blade?

Not seen Tomorrow, although Sabrina's good.

Tomorrow needs to be seen by more people. It's a stunning lead performance, and I think if it had come a little later in Duvall's career it might have been his Oscar win.

Fuck Tomorrow, look at the cover of that Tsui Hark film. I wants it now!

And I'll echo what Gimli said, this is a great thread for recommendations.

Duvall is one of my favourite actors but I've never seen this. I shall seek it out.

Not seen any of those.

I'm missing reviews too as I have no idea from the cover alone whether it would appeal or not. I certainly cant be bothered to Google them all.

This. Your threads are consistently my favorite film related things on the internet (maybe tied with The Dissolve).

Thanks guys. I want to get back to reviews, and I will at some point. At the moment though I just want to get that songs list finished. I may sit down with this and rework it then to include a couple of films I've seen since starting it that demand a place in the list.

O/T - can you get to Ilkley? They are having their 1st film fest in February and all they've announced so far is something you might like - a viewing for From the Sea to the Land Beyond with live music from British Sea Power
