What if you could pick out 2 of your favourite directors to team up and co-direct a picture together? Who would you pick and why? I'm sure in reality there'd be plenty of arguing over creative choices etc. but it's only a bit of fun.

Nicolas Winding Refn & Paul Verhoeven - Two kings of sleazy ultra-violence could bring the ultimate in garish exploitation to the big screen. I'd certainly pay.

Martin Scorsese & Quentin Tarantino - Marty would be just what Mr Verbal Diarrhoea needs to rein in his wafflesome tendencies and run a tighter ship whilst retain plenty of scenes of stylised blood-letting and cool dialogue.

Who would your choices be?

Spike Lee and Quentin Tarantino, just to see what would happen.

Or, assuming this game doesn't just apply to contemporaries...

John Ford and Quentin Tarantino, just to see what would happen.

A punch-up mostly!

I would say Orson Welles and Stanley Kubrick but I'm afraid the universe would implode from too much awesomeness being present at the one time.

Nick Park and Steven Spielberg. Indy 5 in plasticine would be brilliant!

I'd have liked to have seen John Carpenter and Robert Rodriguez do a Snake Plissken film off the back of Death Proof.
