Until we get that groin attachment for movies of a certain ilk then we are stuck with 3D...

How many people know that the fourth dimension is time... so aren't all films in at least 3D and then 3D films should be called 4D?

Starlight Express also has 4D in its tagline somewhere.

I was under the impression that 4D is just a marketing term for where there are physical aspects are added to the audience experience. So for example, let's say during a film it starts raining then sprinklers would be turned on to simulate rain and as an audience member you'd get a soaking.

Seems all rather stupid to me, with a film like the Avengers for instance it would be a bit dangerous as when they start blowing stuff up, there would be explosions going off in the auditorium and the audience would be showered with broken glass and shrapnel.

During a performance of Schindlers list, at some point they'd have to gas the audience with Zyklon B for that true totally immersive experience

Wasn't the last Spy Kids movie advertised as 4D because it came with a scratch & sniff card or something?

Really, a scratch and sniff card? that's hilarious. Didn't John Walters do that with pink flamingos? I seem to remember him saying something about it in an interview, which considering the final scene is Divine eating dog shit must have been pretty revolting

That's even funnier if you read your signature in a different voice directly after reading this.

Try it in Nathan Fillion's voice. Preferably with a little video clip.

Please! Last Action Hero did 4D back in the 90s...

What we need are magic tickets to transport us into the film.
