Whoever thought of using Tubular Bells in The Exorcist was a genius.

Imho the Enter the Dragon soundtrack deserves an honourable mention. Lalo Schifrin is up their with the best of them.

The description for The Exorcist is the same one as for Rocky. Still. Sort it out, Empire web-monkeys!

Where is Goblin's soundtrack for Suspiria? It's one of the greatest soundtracks, let alone horror soundtracks ever done. Hell, it's scary listening to it on it's own!

C'mon Empire, full circle and all that; Luke Skywalkers haircut is way back in vogue now. And since when was Han Solo anything but the coolest icon going (See 500 Days Of Summer)

Where was Jerry Goldsmith's soundtrack for Star Trek: The motion picture. the Main Theme is awesome. Just as good as the Star Wars Main Theme.

At the risk of over-doing the John Williams presence, wot no Close Encounters? Five notes every bit as essential as Jaws's two.

Was disappointed to not see Animal House on this. Some great songs in that. Pleased to see American Graffiti though. That is the best soundtrack ever
