Just getting round to watching king kong versus Godzilla. It left me with one question.

Is it ok for japenese people to black up?

Is it okay to associate King Kong with a race like that?

Not the deep philosophical discussion I had anticipated. Feel like I've just watched the phantom menace again for the first time.

So, was Godzilla actually a victim of being the focus of antagonistic relative morality?

Is there a more recent one than the one in the early 60s? When most of the world thought that wasn't an issue - and it took us about another 2 decades after that film before we stopped?

Is Godzilla actually Descartes' 'evil demon'? Having deceived us all these years, he strikes when we're at our weakest.
