Can't really see Cruise working in the role.. only because of Mission Impossible. They should get someone else.. and someone else to direct it.. RItchie is shit these days

I wonder if Ritchie will set it in the 60s? I know Soderbergh was thinking about doing that. I think that's what might make it stand-out from the likes of Bond and Mission: Impossible. Have an 'old school' spy action series.

I'm not saying go 'camp' like 'Get Smart', but a period spy franchise could be good fun.

As for Cruise? I like the guy, love his films - but I was more excited when it was rumoured to be Clooney and Craig as Solo and Kurayakin.
