Actors for Tamil remake: Vikram, Lingusamy.

DIRECTOR: ABHISHEK KAPOOR
Movie is said to be made on a budget of 30 crore, which includes publicity and advertising. Starring three relatively unknown actors, itís critically acclaimed and doing well in multiplexes.Directors in contention for Tamil remake: Venkat Prabhu, Radha Mohan

Actors for Tamil remake:Vijay Sethupathi and Sivakarthikeyan.

KAHAANI
DIRECTOR: SUJOY GHOSH
The 2012 movie was deemed a sleeper hit that won Vidya Balan all the film awards that year. Making more than 100 cr, this thriller was the talk of the year.Director for Tamil/ Telugu remake: Shekhar Kammula

Actors for Tamil/ Teulgu remake: Nayanthara . Novelist Yandamoori Veerendranath is said to be co-writing the adaptation with Kammula.

BAND BAAJA BARAAT

DIRECTOR: MANEESH SHARMA

This was a lowbudget film (for Bollywood) which saw an already-launched actress and a relative newcomer. It turned out to be superhit and won accolades for the lead pair.Director for Tamil/ Telugu remake: Gokul (associate of director Vishnuvardhan)

Actors for Tamil/ Telugu remake: Nani and the actress is yet to be finalized.
