What is with this trend of showing the entire film in the trailers??!

The first half of this looked really good, but having watched the trailer to the end I have no desire to see the film.

Any sense of surprise or emotional journey has been completely ruined by a trailer that just plain shows to much.

Not going to write it here (in case you've seen this before watching the trailer) but I could probably write a synopsis of the film including a good stab at the final act twist, just from the trailer alone.

All they needed to show us was a bit of world set up with cruise as the last man on the planet bimbling around like a like a live action Wall:E while his partner looks on from above, the pod dropping to earth, maybe a shot of Kurylenko in the pod, with a few flashes of action to show what we're getting.

This was the first I saw of this film. Don't need to see any more

I like the look of this, the main part of plot is still under wraps in terms of why most humans are living off the planet when Morgan freeman and co were left behind, action and visuals look awesome, I enjoyed the tron reboot so looking forward to this....
