The only film I've seen Kodi Smit-McPhee in was LET ME IN (2010), which, to be honest, didn't gave the same believable performance that Kare Hedebrant did in the vastly superior 2008 Swedish version (I don't want to go on about it, but LET ME IN is the MOST pointless remake I've ever seen and anyone who thinks it's better than Tomas Alfredson's masterpiece needs a serious reality check). I just hope that he won't spend most of his screen time screaming, crying or moaning in DAWN OF THE PLANET OF THE APES. Still, the notion that Andy Serkis (the Laurence Olivier of motion-capture performers) will be returning as Caesar is a good thing.

"anyone who thinks it's better than Tomas Alfredson's masterpiece needs a serious reality check" Cheers, god.

Kodi seems like a great casting choice. He was great in Let Me In and The Road.

To be fair to the kid, he didn't in The Road which makes all other post-apocalyptic movies look like The Muppets.

I thought he was "The Lon Chaney of the Digital Age..."
