ORIGINAL: musht I didn't hate it but it is very overrated. Didn't know whether it wanted to mock the old traits ore send them up. It was definitely too long and the Home Alone in Highlands climax was very disappointing. It was fine but it's not even the best Craig Bond film, let alone Best Bond film ever Again, I'm happy to accept that it's a matter of opinion, but (as you may have already seen me write in another thread) are you really reminded more of Home Alone than the climax of Straw Dogs? I understand that Home Alone is better known, but there's just so many more similarities with Straw Dogs that I'm a little baffled that Home Alone gets mentioned more. Considering Sam Mendes directed it, I think I know which movie had the bigger influence on the sequence. Anyway, it's just a small thing. Back on topic, I hope he returns to the camera for the new Bond movie but I'll also admit that I'm hoping that the next one is more fun.
