Yeah you can, they have a wall of pieces in Lego stores, or you can order them online direct from Lego. http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Pick-A-Brick-11998

Lego are actually very encouraging of this type of customisation job, even considering several items per quarter to go in to mainstream production. The upcoming BTTF Delorean set went thru this process.

And for the pieces no longer stocked on lego.com try Bricklink. You can buy brand new or used specific pieces.

Amazing. It would take hours to go through and select all the bricks you need. Imagine getting halfway and your session timing out...

Quite tempted to actually start getting pieces together just to see how much it would all cost!
