From: The Wrong Side of the Tracks
 So I felt a bit skeevy posting pre-orders in the Last Game You Bought Thread - particularly as I've now set my laptops calendar up so it gives me a warning a week before one of my pre-orders is released so I've got time to cancel if I can't afford it.

Currently sat on my shopto account waiting for release date are:

- released 5th March

- released 28th March

- released 7th May

- released 17th May

- released 17th September

I almost never pre-order as the last one I did was Halo:ODST and it turned up a week after release!

In the past have preordered Killzone 2 and Modern Warfare 2 360 console but thats it.

Now just prefer to shop around on the day.

 The last game I pre-ordered was Witcher 2 as Amazon were doing a great pre-order deal on the Enhanced Edition.  As it turned out, I didn't start playing it for almost a year after it arrived, so it was a bit of a wasted effort on my part!

I may pre-order the new Tomb Raider, but generally these days I don't really bother unless there is some exclusive DLC reason to do so

 So since posting this thread I've gone for a different tact, all my pre-orders with Shopto have been cancelled and re-ordered with Game.co.uk - that way I get the pre-order freebies they have (Boo Stress Ball with Luigis Mansion 2? WANT), plus Reward card points that I'm saving up towards my PS4.

On top of that I cancelled Tomb Raider completely and ordered Metal Gear Rising instead, the steel-book of that baby is sat on my desk awaiting 5pm so I can go home and give it a good play, and I've also pre-ordered the afore mentioned magnificent bastard.

I don't really pre-order that much. Last time I did it was Sleeping Dogs.

Got really disappointed so doesn't seem like I'll make a habit out of geting games on day1.

 Last game I pre-ordered was the below. I never pre-order anymore, I just don't have the money to spend £40 on games. As a yearly one off I might do it but i've seen the light and realised being 6 months behind and paying less than half price is a much better option

 I think the last game preordered was Battlefield 3, the only game I've currently got pre-ordered is GTAV and I'm guessing it'll probably stay that way.

I very rarely pre-order these days due to price, you see significant savings in some cases days/weeks after release and well, there's justb not that many games where I have to play on release.
