Really pleased with Argo winning director and film and extremely happy for Affleck, he deserves it. His speech was great.

Waltz winning was also great as was Tarantino getting the screenplay award. Cottilard should have won best actress though, and Phoenix should have won best actor. Apart from that I enjoyed the show as a whole, and Argo/Affleck winning made it worth watching.

Ben Affleck has won every best director award there is for Argo but hasn't even been nominated for an Oscar for it. Don't know how that happened and I'm sad for my fellow Ben that he won't be taking home the Academy Award he deserves for his efforts.

A total disgrace that Tarantino won best original screenplay over either Haneke or Anderson - The Master & Amour were without a doubt the two best films of 2012 -

Agree with Empire in loving that it wasn't just one film that took all the glory. Here's to hoping that the Oscars do the same, as it is much more interesting that way.
