...The One and Only BOBA FETT!! Come on. That's a movie that's been waiting to happen for centuries. I want to know what he was doing between Episodes III and IV. In fact, revive the poor sucker after the cop out death he was given in Episode VI.

I would love to see a movie in the style of the X-Wing books, a little bit of covert operation, a lot of space dogfights, and cool characters like Wedge Antilles and Corran Horn

Seeing how Star Wars has literally gone to the Kids - I mean Dogs... A darker more adult angle would be great. Considering a lot of genuine fans are 30+ years of age now. A movie on Sifo-Dyas perhaps?

From the "Jedi Knight" series of video games - perhaps not as well known as some of the other suggestions here, but has a fairly well establised story arc.

Would love to see palpatine as a young man or even a he very fist stih, in ancient jedi times, back in the early stages of the galaxy, perhaps even a low-fi film where we see someone developing the abilities with the force without any guide or understanding of it, the first jedi?

It says the characters are not gonna be main characters duh. That counts solo and Yoda out. Bona Fett is THE choice. How could you do a Han solo film anyway? Harrison too old for a stand alone and no other actor to replace him.. Can you see anyone else playing Indy?

 i cant wait to see the new films but i think this may just over saturate the star wars market and will put more people off than make them interested in watching the main sequels.

Following the Millenium Falcon we see how Han and Lando started out - we can see what Boba gets up to, why Jabba is such a jerk while learning more about Chewie et al.........

This is the very reason that the character struck such a chord in the first place… and the reason that many fans were unhappy with the back-story the prequels gave.
 
The beauty of the character was in his ambiguity. That has already been dented enough by the prequels so a full film is unnecessary and will just completely ruin him. Plus, he doesn’t speak 98% of the time, so a feature length film based around him is something of a tricky prospect.

In Empire there is a great line up of bounty hunters that can have their own films that are sort of a series, BOBA FETT AND DENGAR COULD BE THE NEW BUTCH AND SUNDANCE

 No characters from the OT or prequels. Simple!
 
Take us to a long, long, long, long time ago and do a Tales of the Jedi series of films. The Great Sith War was 4,000 years before A New Hope… that should do it.

Turn Boba Fett into an anti-hero and put us in the world of the Hutts and the smugglers with Boba doing the 'best of a bad bunch' Clint Eastwood/Toshiro Mifune thing. In fact, if they could somehow base it on stories like Yojimbo that would make me weak at the knees. Please, please don't make the story about a Jedi. We need a Jedi-less Star Wars movie to really expand it.

Rather than things we know about what about the things we have heard talked about but that's it, the Old Republic, a more civilised age.

There are tons of books to follow, Darth Plageus would be good while episode 1-3 are fresh. Or why not look into Darth Bane which will then tell us about the rule of two? I'm all for going back to the beginning with the Old Republic. New characters and lots about the history and science of the Force, which lets be fair is what we want from Star Wars.

Boba escaped from the sarlaac and was helped by dengar and I think one of Jabbas slave girls.I would love to see a Rouge Squadron movie my main concern is how these movies will affect the EU of oveer a hundred plus books masses of comics and games.
