I thought there was already an agreement in place that his remains would be kept in Leicester (whether he's interred under another piss, sick and jizz infused carpark I'm not sure). Unless York have decided to change their minds since the remains might now actually be worth something, which would be a typically Yorkie thing to do.

There. You admit as much.

Also I don't understand why he's being reinterred at Leicester Cathedral. Richard III was Roman Catholic. Leicester Cathedral is Anglican...

And that hide and seek pic... He wasn't lost from 1485. He's "only" been lost for 400 years or so, right?

As Natalie Imbruglia once said, I'm torn. I go to university in Leicester and I love the city. It would be brilliant to have him reinterred here. However, my brother and his girlfriend live in York and are passionate about him being buried there. I have strong affiliations with both cities. "Now is the winter of our discontent..."

That's the most wrong I've ever seen someone be on this forum. And both Gimli and Elab post here.

He should be buried in York, he was 'buried' in Leicester simply because that's where he was killed.

quite impressed with the sheer luck of it all.
as one famous archeologist put it:
"Forget any ideas you've got about lost cities, exotic travel and digging up the world..............We do not follow maps to buried treasure, and X never, ever marks the spot."
