Not great, but good. It's something of a mixed bag, really; it has a really good story, Singer's slick visual style is enjoyable as always and McKellen is outsanding, but the script could've been a lot better and the lead was poorly cast. They needed an actor with that Malcolm McDowell quality about them, where they could play a really bad person but still seduce the audience. But with Renfro, I was sitting through the film praying that he get arrested or killed, and I was rooting for David Schwimmer in the end. Hardly the desired effect, I imagine.
