I'm a bit dubious about Greengrass' formerly titled Flight 93, but the fact that he's directing Bounre again is great news! The best book out of Ludlum's three should equate to the best film...? Here's hoping.

But Greengrass said the film will be 'a new story, completely different from the novel', with 'a better car chase, ... more exciting action, more intensity'. It sounds a lot like they're going to turn it into a brainless explosion-fest. The Bourne Supremacy was heading that way, which I thought was a real let down after the fantastic Bourne Identity.

i've never been amazed by the Bourne cycle and the promise of a "carcrash" with "more intensity" does'nt really excite me. if i wanted that i would have kept wathing 24. but i did'nt cos season 3 was a bit naff. and just out of curiosity, how many times has Elisha Cuthbert been tied up on screen. it happens to her again in House Of Wax-you would think she would be pissed off with it by now

I'm glad someone has had the sense to knock the Bond v Bourne comparison on the head once and for all.

Jason Bourne Rocks! This'll be worth looking forward to. I mean I couldn't give a damn about Casino Royale; Bond is a Wanker.

Dont just just use the books title then disregard its significance to the story. What was so apparent that Bourne displayed his 'Supremacy' in film two? Nothing really. He just showed us that he is a badass, and can drive like a pro and murder with a magazine. Ultimatum refers to the Jackal and the last stance of these two aged combatants, it must end or he will fear the threat forever, one can survive- thereby creating the ultimatum. Thumbs up to the sequel but change the name, the character is strong enough now without needing a recognisable tag line. Bring on the 3rd regardless of the name though, Bourne and Bauer are the two most badass and hard mofo's ever conceived. Bond's a pussy.

I didn't like the first Bourne but enjoyed the second, so I'm glad Greengrass is returning.

The books are terrible, glad they're not using them. I would like a Bourne face-off with The Jackal though. Hopefully they've polished the script since the negative reviews came out.

Fantastic news, the Bourne films are brilliant and some of the best thrillers we've had in years. I've only read the first book and it was good but the films are better. Glad Greengrass is still on board and as Matt Damon said he would only do another Bourne film if the script was good, we're on to a sure thing it looks like.

How on earth can they keep the same title as the book and do a completely different story? The audience will go see the film expecting the story of the book and instead they'll watch something else. I am disappointed, I really liked the first two films for once an action film set in Europe ! But now that Hollywood has messed about with it I fear the worst. Shame. USE ANOTHER TITLE !

? The previous 2 had very little to do with the books either, not much of an issue.

Its a really bad idea because they've screwed up the whole plot of what the books were originally about, marie being killed in the second film when the character is married to bourne and they killed off chris cooper's character who was an ally of bourne's as well.
