No, you got about two months left to sign up. Just send us the name of what you'd like to nom.

Read and replied, MC.

I'm interested in taking part again (as short or long term member) if I can think of something suitable to nominate.

Just reading through the nominations we've had so far. Some of you are DESPERATE for a win.

Is this going to be another whore round?

I'd like to know before I make my pick.

So you can do the anti-whore thing again and get all the points?

Is my nomination particularly slutty?

The one you settled on is a lot less slutty then your other two options. In general, there's a lot of extremely popular films being nominated so far.

Should I pick Forrest Gump to help balance it out?

I'll vote for it

I will tarnish my reputation for you, Forrest. And actually the best thing about Forrest Gump is that it gave us a Frank Ocean song.

Gimli is no longer a long-term member, which means if she does pick Forrest Gump I can forget to include her in the draw.

It wouldn't be the worst film you've chosen.

If, as mentioned half-jokingly in the top 100 thread, there is ever a Westerns round, I'm in, given the following conditions:

a) The Searchers is not nominated,
b) see a).
c) if it is, I'm not expected to re-watch it, cos it's rubbish.
d) see b).

Mmmm - I'd be interested.

I'd probably go for one of Ford's. What's that famous one?

There is some film called "The Lookers", or "The Finding People" or something like that which will most likely be nominated.

If there's the possibility of a Western round I'd like to withdraw my application for a long term HoF spot. There's no way I'm willingly going to put myself in a position where I could possibly have to watch one, or more (god forbid), John Wayne films.

Given how badly Bad Day at Black Rock and The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance have fared the HoF doesn't deserve a westerns round

I've no idea if it would be the case, but I think in the past LT members have been able to step back from theme rounds without it affecting their term?

Homer, the Pauline Kael of Empire.

And yeah, if a long-termer doesn't like the idea of a theme round they don't have to take part, but they do get first-refusal on a spot, without it counting as part of their terms, if they'd like to take part.
