Does anyone, maybe Dpp, know where you can access sentencing details for cases for the JP at Glasgow Sheriff Court? I know the scrote pleaded guilty, finally, but we don't know what sentence he got or whether he's awaiting sentencing.

I don't think they give Jp sentencing, just the Sheriff Court side. We thought it was thought but then I found the case on the JP rolls.

I think, basically, it's something like the start of Angels' Share but I'm not sure how we find out. Their IT is, they say, dreadful and just doesn't update, even when they can access it.

I don't know where, or even if, they publish sentencing. I don't really have much of a grasp on the Scottish court system so wouldn't know where to start if the links rawlinson posted don't help.

In England the local papers usually have a reporter at the court. I'd be surprised if it wasn't the case North of the border. Maybe you can get in touch with the paper to see if they can tell you anything.

Sorry I can't be of much use here.

I appreciate both your replies.

I still have a letter with the case reference so I might try the court myself tomorrow to see if they'll tell you (or if their computer will tell them!)
