I'd love to try one of these burgers - I bet they'd be lovely with a bit of filly.

The Tesco's round here have sold it, although they said they've got a fresh delivery coming in at 10 to 1.

As a Veggie I'm not really that bothered, although I take exception to their Quarter Panda's.

Ordered a burger in Tesco's Cafe last night
"What do you want on it?", says the waitress

"A fiver each way."

My doctor has told me to start watching what I eat. So I've booked tickets for this year's Grand National.

Heh.

Sorry to say I don't have any one liners (well, I do, but they've already been posted by others), but caught the end of something on the news today regarding the latest Findus thing - summat about there being a drug given to horses which is deadly to humans?

Anyone else catch that and can explain further?

I seen it in the paper today. There's a painkiller given to horses that could cause cancer in humans that could feasibly end up in our food. Sounds like hyperbole to me though.

Also, it's 30 years to the day that Shergar disappeared. Just sayin'....

There's a trial going on at the moment to do with doping in sports, and having just seen a news headline that used the words "tested positive for horse DNA," I'm awaiting the inevitable mix up or bored employee mixing the two together...

So is this all forgotten now? Has the meat industry returned to a stable condition?
