I was a massive fan of Primer and have been waiting for Carruth to make another film but from the evidence at hand, this just looks overly artsy.
I hope I'm wrong. The immediacy and naturalism of Primer went along way to making it the great film it was. Lets hope this doesnt disappear up its own arse.
I remember after Primer there were rumours he was going to make something historical based on the Silk Trade - it obviously got ditched at some point.
Fingers are crossed for this. Will it actually make a theatrical release in this country?

Primer was an awesome little film and showed that great sci fi films didn't have to be big budget blockbusters. Been waiting for Shane Carruth to dazzle us again and this looks like it's not going to disappoint.
