I have looked through worst actors/best, etc... and I am yet to see a mention of my favourite actor (girlfriend calls it my man crush!)...

For the casual Film/TV viewer people seem to know of him visually, but mention his name and people respond; who?! But he gets a lot of work and it is certainly stands out!

But I love everything he does - Deadwood, Go, The Girl Next Door, Die Hard 4 (reminds me of a John Travolta villain), Justified I am not sold on yet having only seen season one...

Anyone else a fan of the Olyphant? Or is he one of the most indifferent actors opinion wise?

Justified is excellent, Olyphant was born to play Raylan Givens. He's usually the best thing about any film I happen to see him in too so yeah, I'm a fan. The Crazies is one of the better remakes.

I forgot all about The Crazies - but that is a great watch!

I shall jump back to watching Justified then!

He does a really good voice impersonation of Clint Eastwood! I was watching the magnificent Rango the other day, and when we see a cameo by The Man With No Name, i almost believed it was Clint himself! It was only when i checked the credits i realised it was Mr. Olyphant.

I haven't watched many of his films though, i think Hitman was one i watched of late. God what a load of dog shite!

I thought the exact same thing, it was someone else who recognised the difference for me, it is a mighty good impression.

We can let him off for Hitman, on the whole most of his work is more than entertaining...

Yeah we could. It'd be unfair just to associate him with that shower of shite! just remembered, i also saw him in Die Hard 4; i thought he did a great job as the main villain of the piece.

It would certainly give South Park a run for its money in the swear word department... just thinking of Deadwood reminds me how great it was!

Gotta love Mr Wu and Sweargen's conversations - if you can call them that...

Funnily enough I watched GO last night and was struck by the thought of how different Olyphant looks in his roles. It took me a while to realise that it was him out of Deadwood!!
