When it comes to watching a foreign/subtitled film I tend to go with Asian action cinema - hence the name - love watching Chow Yun Fat at his charismatic best!

However, has anyone else out there seen Le Beau Serge by Chabrol? I watched it about 10 years ago when studying French cinema for a term or two and this simple-plot of a film has stuck with me ever since!

I am yet to watch it again as I am not paying through the nose for the VHS copy and can't seem to locate it via a certain smuggler. I just remember the ending being pretty powerful and wouldn't mind seeing it again to see if I actually enjoyed it or if remember it for another reason.
