I love Studio Ghibli, the consistent quality of their films are rivalled only by Pixar IMO. So whats your favourite film of theirs?

Castle in the Sky (1986)
Grave of the Fireflies (1988)
My Neighbor Totoro (1988)
Kiki's Delivery Service (1989)
Only Yesterday (1991)
Porco Rosso (1992)
Pom Poko (1994)
Whisper of the Heart (1995)
Princess Mononoke (1997)
My Neighbors the Yamadas (1999)
Spirited Away (2001)
The Cat Returns (2002)
Howl's Moving Castle (2004)
Tales from Earthsea (2006)
Ponyo (2008)
Arrietty (2010)
From Up on Poppy Hill (2011)

Hate to be predictable, but for me it just has to be Spirited Away. I think it deserves every single accolade it has ever recieved and is one of the very few completley 'perfect' films I've ever seen. I can watch it over and over again and still find it beautifully brilliant.

I also really love My Neigbour Totoro. Again, just perfection, and can be watched over and over again. Probably the most adorable film thats ever been made??

I love all of their films but these two are probably my favourites. Having said that, I wasn't really a fan of Arriety. I found just a bit boring and I actually preferred the Borrowers film from the 90's with John Goodman! Over to you, what are your favourites?

7) Pom Poko
6) Ponyo
5) Porco Rosso
4) My Neighbour Totoro
4) Nausicaa Of The Valley Of The Wind (not strictly Ghibli, but I'm including it anyway)
3) Spirited Away
2) Howl's Moving Castle
1) Princess Mononoke

So far I have yet to see Castle In The Sky, Arrietty and From Up On Poppy Hill, but I've heard great things about all of them.

 I came in here to say Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind. I didn't realise it's not Ghibli, but I like it an awful lot. The only Ghibli I've seen is Spirited Away and I was unimpressed.

Sadly I've only seen two - Spirited Away and Princess Mononoke - but I loved them both. My sister's a big fan and has several on DVD, I just haven't gotten round to watching them.

5. Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind (as noted above,not Ghibli but it is Miyazaki and is part of Optimum's Ghibli Collection)
6. Arrietty
7. Howl's Moving Castle
8. Laputa: Castle in the Sky
9. Princess Mononoke
10. Kiki's Delivery Service

All the above are pretty much 5* films for me.

I have Grave of Fireflies and Whisper of the Heart on DVD but haven't watched them yet. I also mulled over putting the Castle of Cagliostro in but that would have been really pushing it.

People laugh at me and tell me I'm wrong (?!) but it has to be Ponyo for me. A wonderful, wonderful big giddy smile of a film.

5. Nausicaa
4. My Neighbour Totoro
3. Howl's Moving Castle
2. Ponyo
1. Princess Mononoke/ Spirited Away (i couldn't choose between them!)

But really, i love all work of Miyazaki! I also likes Grave of The Fireflies, but i don't know if i can ever watch that movie again.. Saddest movie i've ever seen

I flippin ADORE Ponyo! Not up there with their best, but still wonderfully little / charming / wierd. Glad to see some love for it!
