I never really got Superman, he is just too, well, Super . . . . He has only 1 real weakness, no real conflict, his disguise/alias is rubbish and his back story is of little interest. I appreciate that he has a massive following in comic circles, but I think his time in film is well past it's sell by date. I really don't see what else there is to bring to the table with the character, so not at all excited by this latest attempt, sorry !

I'm going to cease judgement until I see the film. I agree though, comic book/superhero films are becoming a tad overdone. I guess the problem with Superman is there will be a greater lack of belief he can be defeated opposed to that of Batman or Ironman.

The only worry I have is with Zack Synder, I've never particularly cared about any of his films. As beautiful as they look.
