I've lost my hope for that cover..I'm sure I'll be disappointed again next month seeing IronMan on cover..

 I feel like it'll be Iron Man 3 on the cover, with a short bit on MoS, and substantial features on Wolverine, Thor 2 and maybe GotG! Plus, there'll be a Good Day to Die Hard feature!

Finally! Good news! Man of Steel will be the main feature in 285 Empire's issue! And will take the cover of course!

Edit: 21 or 28 of January, mondays, as Empire always do..

The general rule of thumb is the last Thurs of the month, the next issue is out 31st Jan

Not entirely true I'm talking about the online reveal..that, except for the 2011 March issue with Captain America, always happens on mondays..

Ok, we'll see. I remain skeptical. WB is very shy with releasing new images from this movie than with any other comic book movie of theirs in the past. And you know, Iron Man 3 might just take cover issue, especially since they will launch a new promotional blitz with a super bowl spot and a new poster next week. So be prepared to be disappointed.

It would be nice if someone from the magazine itself gave the Superman fans a little nudge,nudge, wink wink on the issue. Like say, gee whiz I would really like to see a big Man of Steel cover/feature in the next Empire issue....*awaits a wink-wink*..

Nice cover. I love that the old Empire Logo in red is back. I didn't care for the fake metalic font on the Star Trek cover ( which sadly is also used for "The Man of Steel" text )
I wish you would just always use the simple white font.
