We had a lot of interest, which meant several people missed out. So Christmas apologies to everyone who didn't make the draw. The nine people taking part in the next round, in addition to meself, TRM and Reb, are.

Matty
Harry Tuttle
The Prof
MA
Impqueen
Gimli
Siegfried
Nomi
Garviel

We had about three films that were nominated by more than one person, so alternates were requested. Some of you will have to go with those alt choices, but I'll send individual pms and let you all know which film you'll have to go with.

I was going to say pull my name out of this one, but with all that's been happening recently it slipped my mind.

All seems a bit academic now, though.

We kind of assumed you were pulling out, tbh mate. How are things now anyway?

And this needs a bump, I'm wondering if not everyone has seen the draw.

Woohoo I made the draw! When do you need blurbs? I want to rewatch my own nom before trying to write something up.

You've got a week or so at least. The first round of the current HoF has to drag its aged, bloated corpse to the finish line first.

Excellent.....

I'll try and get a blurb in as soon as possible - looking forward to this round!

Things are OK actually. There was an illness in the family, but things seem to be working out fine now.

As a sidenote, I may want to carry over my nomination over to the next HOF after the Classic rounds. If that fucker doesn't get me into the third round I don't know what will.

I've just sent my blurb to you by PM. Hope you've received it OK. Sorry to have taken so long to get around to it.

No probs, you're in in plenty of time.

So we now have blurbs from Nomi, Matty, Gimli, MA, Siegfried and Garviel. I know Harry was going to get his done over the weekend, so could Impy and The Prof (Best detective show ever) get theirs in over the next few days pwetty please? The deadline for the current round of HoF is Friday, so if you can get them in before that so we have them handy to start the next round asap after the result comes in.

Apologies for the tardiness. I promise to write it up tomorrow. I did nominate the film I think I did, didn't I? The detective show thing has me confused. I know I was going to nominate After the Thin Man at some point, but I'm sure I never did.

Do you need me to pm you the title of your nom?

The detective show thing was because Impy & The Prof sounds like a funky 60s detective duo.

Ah right. Impy and the Prof. I expect he's the rather suave, intelligent one. All leather elbow patches and crazy hair in the morning. While she looks good in a bikini and knows karate.

Quick question, the film I'm planning to nom is R1 only. Usually that's not enough to stop a nomination (as long as it's not over a certain price) but with this round coming so soon after Christmas, would people prefer it if I went with something easier to get hold of? If anyone has a problem, could they let me know either on board or by pm asap, please? Just to give me time to sort out an alternate nom before the weekend.

It's fine by me. I'd prefer not to have to spend over a tenner but I knew there was a possibility I'd have to buy some films before I signed up.
