 They could start by making more of an effort with the CGI. I mean... if you're going to make the lead character's costume completely CGI, you can at least make sure the movie doesn't end up looking like a poor relation of The Mummy! Then they can carry on by completely overhauling everything else... including the casting.

 The CG costume looked great, it was all the other FX that needed work. Although some of the CG creatures looked OK.

The race track scene was just the worst idea ever though, out of all the constructs Hal can create the makers go for something that looks so visually lame

What was wrong with Parallax?. I am not a big Lantern fan but enjoyed the movie and particularly Parallax? I would of said underused rather than misused.

I'd recast Strong, too, for no other reason than I am now sick of him turning up as the villain in everything. Out of interest, has he ever not been the villain?

+1 for the CGi costume! I loved it!. (I really hoped that Supermans would be semi CGi too but that's for a different discussion).

He is a villain in it!!! or at least by the end of the movie? at end credits he puts the Yellow ring on and is definitely turned ? or did I imagine that?

 The Losers was such a fun film but sadly didn't make a great deal in the cinema. It would be great to see the second half (although Chris Evans and Idris Elba probably would cost a bit much now).

Hancock made around $600 million worldwide. Whatever your views on the quality (personally I thought it was a bit hit and miss) don't really think it qualifies as a flop.
I wouldn't have minded more John Carter. While it was flawed and suffered from the source material having been strip mined over the years, it was a fun couple of hours and ended on a good set up for a sequel.

Damn right. On the DVD extras, Elba was back at the end, scarred and seeking revenge. It was all there for the sequel.

And Dredd. Want more Dredd.
