Apparently the old norovirus is at record high levels this year. Little bugger done laid me low for a day or two there. Although in my case it should be renamed the Winter Ass-Piss Bug.
Anyone else had it / will undoubtedly get it / currently leaking at both ends?

This is the first year in 3 or 4 that I've dodged it thankfully. Just as I'd perfected sitting side saddle on the toilet too. Ah well.

Watch me get it on Christmas day now.

I've had it, and I'm usually able to fight these things off. It's spread through work like wild fire though.

I thought I might have had it Monday night when I had a couple of quick dashes to the "smallest room". I've not really had any of the symptoms other than the runs though so it was probably just that. After dosing up on Immodium though I've now got kinda the opposite problem. Shouls sort itself out in a day or so (I hope)

I'm just getting over it. Good job, too, as I've got a big weekend planned...

If you do come down with it, rest assured, the worst of it should be over within about 12 hours. You'll feel a bit grotty for a couple of days afterwards, just keep up sipping fluids, don't try and eat anything too heavy and you'll be fine.

And don't listen to whatever certain newspapers are saying about the horrifying implications of this minor bug because if you do, you may believe it and YOU MAY DIE!!!!

PS... I work for the NHS and take it from me, you won't die.

I know someone who had the norovirus once, then BAM! One week later, hit by a bus.

Yup me and the Little Jinks had it the last coupla days, but thankfully over it.

Creche's are a hotbed of diseases, but they often put up posters warning off bugs going around that place.

Tempted to send him back after Christmas in this:

Had it, spent from last Sunday night until Tuesday morning running between the loo and bed.

I lost a bit of weight because of it which I can now spend tomorrow trying to put back on.

Looks like I'll be spending NYE in the flat this year...

I don't really mind actually, I've got Blurays and TV to catch up on.
