Any older school gamers here? I wonder if any of you played elite or elite 2:frontier back in the day, if so you may be pleased to hear about Elite dangerous the latest in the series.
Well there will be one if the kickstarter campaign is successful.

The kickstarter has been going okay and should be funded but the more pledgers the better so please check it out. For those who are new to elite...

And I didn't even google it... god knows how I remembered that (well, actually, I remember it cos I spent 1000s of hours listening to it the 80s - I could never dock the thing manually, i borrowed a mates saved game... on cassette... and he had the docking machine)

30 to get the game? That's steep.

75 to access the forums? WTF?!

30 to get the game isn't steep, most games cost as much or more. also look out for the 20 slots becoming available, as that nets you the game too.

Really hope this gets up and running, I was a bit too young for the BBC Micro version though I did use them at school back in the day, and then I had the Amiga version and loved it so I'll be looking out for this if it happens.

Double Fine Adventure was $15 (9). Project Eternity was $25 (15).

30 is pretty much full whack for a big developer retail PC game (which I have never paid).

Supporting an indie game on KS should be much less.
