The character of Khan has to be a masculine alpha-male, who's catnip to the ladies and is believeable as a man 'who held power over millions'. He's a remnant from an obsolete patriarchal society, and he'd be attractive to the women of the 23rd century because of his rugged, unrefined masculinity. Standing in stark contrast to the well-behaved, clean-cut, momma's boys of Starfleet. He's essentially the ultimate bad boy. The guy the daughter brings home to upset her parents. In other words, he can't be a white English guy, with a private shool education. I urge everybody to [re]watch the Space Seed episode. Khan's seduction of an Enterprise crew member is one of the finest scenes in television history. Benecio Del Toro would be perfect. I hope they get him.
