I'm going out my mind with battlefield 3 on ps3. at the campaign level to defeat Russian fast air, I cannot find the stinger missile. I've even gone as far as to buy the strategy guide but that's no help at all.

can someone please put me out my misery?

It's a glitch since the latest update. There's a workaround:

PS3:
Disconnect from the internet completely
Delete Game Data Utility for Battlefield 3
Restart the console
Launch Battlefield 3, install the update from disc (!), go to Campaign, select Replay Missions and select => �A Rock and a Hard Place� (Please note that you will have to play the level from the beginning)
Once the level is completed, you can reconnect to the internet and re-download all of the updates
