Part of me was hoping was this was some resurrection of that CG animated series from the 90's with Bob the Guardian.

Same here. Such a forgotten show where I'm from, so I think it'd be worthy of getting re... made (narrowly avoiding the obvious pun). No one would be able to compare and complain if a film adaption didn't live up to a show that they can't remember.

Bob, Milo... and the terrifying Hexidecimal villain with the multiple faces. Megabyte was an awesome fusion of Sheer Khan and Megatron. That's exactly why I clicked on this link. Now I'm just hurt.
