I enjoy the cinema so much more when I'm on my own. I get awkward about people around us being dicks when I'm with other people, whereas on my own I just move or, in extreme circumstances, leave. At uni, I spent most of my free time in the cinema, so I got very used to seeing a lot of crap on my own! The first time I ever saw a film on my own, though, was just after I got an Unlimited card. I was meeting friends in the evening, and realised that since I could see as many films as I liked, I might as well see one on my own beforehand. And that film was, the remake of The Wicker Man!!! Never looked back.
