peter mullan is awesome in a drama that is brutal both physically and mentally.

I've only watched episode one so far, but I'm deffo into the rest of it, got the rest earmarked for recording.

Mr Mullen is always excellent, no surprise there, but there's a really great supporting cast as well.

I think it's a strong concept that I'm surprised nobody's come up with before... a hard, nasty, ageing gangster bastard with Altzheimers?

This could either end up really strong or go a bit pretentious... the hallucination parts are the worst part of it and if they take over, it's going to go a bit wanky...

No matter... looking forwards to the rest...

Have the eps linked and will watch them all together this weekend. Looking forward to it. Peter Mullan is the Scottish Jim Broadbent in that he's in everything (though the former can at least act!), but he's always good, and this part will suit him well.

Didn't expect THAT bit with Harry Lloyd (you know what I mean if you've seen it...)

I just watched part 3... I think it's all going to get a bit mental in the final part...

Seriously, is nobody else watching this?
