I loved, loved, loved Nativity so put my reservations aside to go and see this - wish I hadn't! A talmeted cast muggin and gurning for all they are worth tyrying to flog a lame duck of a story into life - excrable!

Only if you REALLY want over syrupy, schmaltzy Christmassiness should you see this. This is like Jack Black School of Rock but 100 times more cringeworthy. I have seen a review describing the film as unwatchable - frankly a pretty accurate description at times! It starts bad and justwhen you think it cannot plumb new depths of abuse of child actors and queasy festivity, it gets soooo much worse. Even after downing a Christmas Dinner and several glasses of wine you will not want to see this!
