After reading the book this year, I've been intrigued about this project since reading about it, but this probably explains why I've not been able to find much info on it, despite reading an article saying it was meant to be on this year! :-D

I get the impression they're aiming for a full on, multi series TV show though - can't help thinking I'd prefer it to be done straight as a one off, single series adaption...

I really enjoyed the book, but with a 13 episode run scheduled, and "the door left open for more" doesn't sound promising at all.
In effect, they won't get rid of the dome by the end of the first series.
The book was quite dark in places, well, very dark, so can't see them running with a lot of the content. Sounds like King is involved though, which may or may not be a good sign.
