As always, it's better than I make it sound. And I forgot to mention it's partly corporate satire too. Although, that part is a bit broad.

I quite like some of the other stuff Marty Ross did, Ghost Zone and Catch My Breath, but that series of adaptations are great. Has Brownie been on yet?

Not yet it will be on in two weeks.

They're playing a series of Elizabeth Jane Howard readings this week. I'm hoping Three Miles Up will be in there somewhere.

I *think* I've seen it. I had vague memories of a show for a long time, and only when I read the story a few years back did I realise what it must be. They filmed it with Douglas Henshall. Keep meaning to track down a copy because in my memory it was excellent. If it was the right show.

It really doesn't seem like a show you'd like.

WifeofRaw loves it. I'm not a huge fan, but it's fun.

Pointless has a Mr. Men round on at the moment.

I knew all three of those pointless ones. Not sure if I should be proud of that

Was it about the start of S4? I've just seen the first ep from that.

Cool.

I know someone on here hates Charmed. I think it's elab.

That's because Charmed is terrible - apart from the cool theme tune of course

The theme tune is pretty much the thing I like least about it

Mad Men grew on me. So much so that I watched all five seasons in three days shy of a month. And there was Christmas in that time, too.

I gave up after season two. I didn't care about anyone or anything happening in it.

Apart from the occasional hilarity of Pete Campbell. "That's incredibly swell!"

But even that wasn't enough.

I always liked Peggy, but some of that may have been residual love of Elisabeth Moss as Zoe Bartlet in The West Wing. But I didn't fall for it straight away, tbh, so I get where you're coming from. Also, VAGUE MAD MEN SPOILERS you missed chubby Betty. She actually looks hotter, but maybe that's just me...

Mad Men is awesome. Elisabeth Moss is awesome.

EXACTLY THE SAME AS HOMER'S VAGUE SPOILERS FOR MAD MEN

Fat Betty is also awesome. However, she is not more attractive

Misfits S4

As Finn noted in the last epi, the series where they pretty much ignored their powers. It was OK. Greg - parole officer - was great, I again varied between not liking Gilgun's performance and thinking it was OK, and the two new additions for most of the season were a lot more successful than Rudy's introduction. I did wonder at one point if they were going for a male rape 'joke' every episode at the start which was a tad worrying, the final enemy was amazingly lame and the new girl's performance is like watching someone doing a bad school play, told to act distant and thinking it's done with some squint mouth ticks and a monotone. She's pretty awful so far although the one part where she was required not to do that it was better so she might just be doing that bit really badly. The bunny looked great.
