I am trying to remember the name of a move that I watched when I was a young teenager. I don't remember much...probably why I can't figure out the name of the movie! From what I can remember, I think there are 2 boys that are best friends. I believe they meet a girl (maybe she is visiting for the summer?) and they all become friends and hang out all of the time. Everything is great until the girl and one of the boys start to develop feelings for each other (maybe they kiss?). This of course causes problems when the other boy finds out. I think they all live near the beach. The movie was probably made in the 80s or early 90s. I saw it around 2000 on a movie channel.

Can anyone help?
