It was more a recommendation of a good one I was hoping for. There are a few in the app store but I've dismissed most because they want access to far more personal info on phone than is remotely acceptable - something I see a lot in these apps which pretend they are fun or helpful and I can see lots of kids DLing them without looking properly. I'm trying one at the moment that, if it worked a bit better, would be a lot faster than input as you can take the camera across the back of eg a row of books and it picks them up. As I said, I have a problem with the tendons on my right wrist so the typing part is a bit of a problem for me. An improvement for this one would be storing as a list for approval rather than individual though. It'd be better adding on new purchases as and when and quite useful, and it does back up to PC, but for an initial catalogue it isn't perfect when we're talking maybe a couple of thousand (I think - never actually counted my books before and they seem to be everywhere!).
