Heh, a very recent viewing for me too.

I liked this a lot more when I was younger, but it still holds up well in the places that matter - namely two very fine showings by Phoenix & Wheaton.

Judging by the reviews I've read, it looks really worthwhile. One to look out for, I think.

Agree with your assessment of both Born On The 4th Of July and Night Of The Living Dead.
Late Spring - superb. I've loved all of Ozu's films that I've seen.

Light on plot, but some enjoyable set-pieces & I enjoyed Stark's relationship with the suit(s) & how recent events have begun to take its toll.

Curiously, Iron Man 3.

Armageddon - One of the slightly better Bay movies. It's too long and often very silly, but generally quite fun. 3/5

First Class - The only X-men film I've really enjoyed so far. 4/5

Didn't expect much, and was agreeably surprised. A very engaging film. 4/5

One of the Almodovar's I've yet to see.

Technically it's still Iron Man 3.

By THAT bit, I take it you're referring to the same bit that achieved a huge degree of scorn by the two marvel enthusiasts I was in attendance with?

Red Eye - One of the films belonging to my 'first movie date' collection. The rest of the evening was a lot better than the film.

I have two lovefilm things to watch, Take This Waltz or Gregory's 2 Girls - frustratingly, neither are Bioshock Infinite - which I requested in the first place.
