out in march 2013-

i hope fox/sony don't stiff us with the extras as with previous craig BDs.

they rushed a bare bones 'casino' dvd/BD in '07 then waited til '08 for the UE.
still waiting for the QoS UE.

I doubt they will do a good job with extras, it's going to be the standard like last time (Not counting Casino Royale Deluxe)

Doesn't look like it, the extras listed on Amazon are only "over one hour of content" which with QOS is the smallest amount of extras, and has no mention of a commentary or the Ian Fleming docs and other stuff from the Casino Royale disc 2.

The version of CR on the box set incorporates some of the extras from the the deluxe edition - including the crew commentary (but not the video commentary) but not all but it also drops stuff that was on the original release like the Bond Girls are Forvever doc.

I got an email from HMV yesterday offering a 20% discount off my next order and entry into a prize draw to win up to £1000 of vouchers by pre ordering Skyfall only valid til midnight. I tried to order only to find the bloody site was down so couldn't take advantage. Pissed me off no end

Just three months after release? That's helluva quick, isn't it? (That release window keeps getting smaller and smaller - It's still on at the cinema!)

Yeah, just a shame most of them are on the Blu Ray, and us people who haven't converted get a smaller selection. Off Topic, but want to ask-I have a surround sound system that I got with a DVD player, it's 5.1, I'll obviously need to splash the cash on a 7.1 sound system to get the most out of Blu Ray if I did upgrade?

For those looking for the previously HMV exclusive steelbook, it is now available at amazon.

I'm not sure what this means for orders previously placed with HMV.

Thanks for that.

Don't know why but any combination of "Skyfall" , "Bluray", "Limited" and "Steelbook" don't seem to bring that up when I try a search. Weird

There's discussion elsewhere on the HMV order and the consensus was it was a non-starter. They haven't even started getting in new films yet and the site is now bust.

That Amazon are calling this an exclusive suggests they've taken over whatever form the stock order took, I guess?

Sainsbury's (in store) are currently taking pre-orders for the DVD and Blu-Ray editions - pre-order now (£2 deposit) and you get 200 Nectar Points (that's £1 worth) when you collect it on Feb 18th.

Hopefully Asda will continue their tradition of offering the DVD for £7 in the first week, and a discount for the Blu-Ray too.

It looks as if this is no longer available from amazon, so they must have sold out their allocation.

Keep checking back, just in case.

It was not available when I looked last week and then it was up again on the 11th, so nabbed one straight away! Even though itíll probably end up in my Bond 50 set the SB is a nice looking thing so had to have it!
